Noted Historian and Smyrna resident Dr. WIlliam P. Marchione will discuss “Turning Points in the History of Smyrna” during a fun, interactive presentation. Our own residents will contribute to the discussion by sharing their personal perspectives of local history. 

Dr. Marchione is a respected retired history professor, author, lecturer and oral historian. He has done extensive research in the history of the American South, and is the author of seven books and hundreds of published articles. He has received countless awards and citations for his work.
