If you find your iPhone behaving strange, it is always a good idea to force reboot it before you take it to a repair specialist. Over the years the force reboot process has changed.

our friends OSXDaily has a great article on how to do this for the iPhone Xs Max and iPhone Xs. You can read their article HERE.

It is pretty simple:

  1. press the volume up button and release
  2. press the volume down button and release
  3. press and hold the power button until the Apple logo appears

If the Apple Logo does not appear, you have not performed a force restart.

if you need any help with troubleshooting your iPhone please stop by and see us at Experimac Klein. We pride ourselves in no lineup and excellent customer service.
