Order A Rescue Sticker

Many organizations such as the ASPCA provide stickers on which you can indicate how many animals are in the home. When you have this sticker on a window, emergency crews will know to look for cats and dogs in their rescue efforts. These stickers can be life-saving during a fire or flood. 

Pack An Emergency Kit

Fill a box with emergency pet supplies and put it in your car. This can include items like extra medication, pet bandages, a thermometer, soft towels, disinfectant solution, an extra leash, canned pet food, pet brushes, and water. When you have this kit already packed, you can simply bring your pet with you during an evacuation and trust that their basic needs will be covered.
