In a continued effort to support community events for local residents and provide open information and engagement with public officials, the non-partisan Woodford County Chamber of Commerce is excited to host candidate forums for the upcoming election cycle. The next two months will include a series of local events to help voters make informed decisions. Don’t miss your chance to attend during the dates below.

Upcoming Candidate Forum Community Events

Wednesday, September 26th 6pm – 9pm at the Woodford County Middle School

The candidates for Woodford County School Board in Districts #2 and #5 will be on stage to make their case for your support. Come out to listen to their presentations and ask questions, so that you can make an informed voting decision.

Thursday, October 4th 6pm – 9pm at Midway University

The candidates for State Representatives in District #56, 14th Judicial District, and the Commonwealth’s Attorney will be speaking, and they will be available for questions.

Thursday, October 18th 6pm – 9pm at Midway University

Join us for the Midway Mayoral and City Council candidate forums and learn about the issues facing your community and what the candidates intend to do about it.
