Invisalign® is used for orthodontic treatment to move and realign the teeth. A custom-made clear aligner, similar to a retainer, is generated from a mold of the wearer’s teeth and worn for 12 to 18 months on average. Invisalign may be an easy alternative to traditional braces for you or your child.

Reasons to Choose Invisalign Treatment

1. Invisible

One of the best aspects of Invisalign is the orthodontic devices are clear and almost undetectable. This is a benefit for both adult wearers and teens and helps boost self-esteem by eliminating the need for the hardware of braces. The clear aligners are customized and replaced every few weeks as your teeth alignment slowly improves.

2. Easy Care

Invisalign clear aligners are much easier to clean than braces. Remove the aligner and brush it gently with a toothbrush, then brush your teeth as usual. Because no hardware is affixed to the teeth and wearers can perform flossing and brushing as normal, there is less risk of tooth decay.

3. No Food Restrictions

With these clear aligners, eating is easy. Remove the devices while eating and replace them afterward. Brush or rinse your mouth after meals and before replacing the aligner so food particles are not trapped between the aligner and your teeth.

4. Less Painful

Traditional braces may create more pain from the metal components rubbing on the inside of the mouth and tongue. With Invisalign, there is no metal hardware, and the plastic is smooth, seamless, and durable.

5. Freedominvisible-braces-remove-for-sports

Invisalign allows greater freedom to play sports or musical instruments. Simply leave them in during any activities which aren’t affected by the aligners, or remove them during the activity and replace them after.
