Since 1846, graduates of St. Louis School have gone on to build distinguished records of accomplishment in a broad range of fields, including education, politics, and the sciences. The Gallery of Distinguished Achievers pays tribute to the school’s graduates who have made significant contributions to their profession, alma mater, and community. The induction ceremony, one of the most important alumni events sponsored by the St. Louis Alumni Association, honors the work of these graduates.

The GODA Honors a Tradition of Excellence

As one of Honolulu’s oldest and most prestigious educational institutions, St. Louis School has a long history of shaping proactive, driven citizens equipped with the tools for success. Not only does the GODA recognize the achievements of those who exemplify what it means to be a “Saint Louis Man,” but it also reinforces those values for young people who are just beginning their lives, spurring them to join the ranks of these distinguished achievers.

Inductees

alumni eventsThis year, the GODA will recognize the exemplary careers and public service of P. Gregory Frey ‘79, James ‘Jim’ Leahey ‘61, Dr. Nathan Murata ‘80, and Blake M. Nuibe ‘70. These men will join former Governor John Burns, Honolulu Mayor Neal Blaisdell, and noted heart surgeon Richard T. Mamiya, along with those who will be inducted in the years to come. In addition to honoring the achievements of Saint Louis School graduates, the alumni event serves as a fundraising tool, generating money for scholarships and other student programs.

For over a century, the St. Louis Alumni Association has hosted alumni events and provided vital support to graduates of one of Honolulu’s most prestigious private schools. As the only alumni association in Hawaii with their own clubhouse, which is also open to the public, their team will proudly host your high school reunion or any other alumni event you have planned.
