These easy food swaps can save you 100(+) calories per day! Trimming calories doesn’t have to be hard, in fact, you may not even notice the difference and develop healthy habits for continued weight loss.

7 Simple Food Swaps to Lower your Daily Calories:

  1. Try a lettuce wrap instead of a bun.  This fantastic, crispy option will save you most likely 200-300 calories. 
  2. Trade salsa for dressing.  10-20 calories for salsa is a great bargain versus full fat dressing.
  3. Mustard over mayo. Tried and true this will cut calories. Mustard only has 5 calories per tablespoon compared to a whopping 100 for mayo.
  4. Dip with veggies instead of chips.  Veggies will fill you up with fiber and nutrition much more than high fat chip options.
  5. Try riced-cauliflower in place of rice.  You can save over 150 calories per cup and not even notice!
  6. Swap nonfat Greek yogurt in place of mayo. For every two tablespoons you will save 150 calories.  
  7. Use nonstick spray instead of oils. Oil per tablespoon adds up to 120 calories, while using nonstick spray has very few calories.
