Founded in 1852, Oak Grove Cemetery in La Crosse, WI is about as old as the town itself; for over a century and a half, the folks here have helped the bereaved with funeral planning, burial, and cremation services. It is an important job that takes a special kind of caring and compassionate staff to be truly of help during difficult times. Moreover, the staff of this cemetery views their work as an essential public service; these are people who are proudly part of a community to which they are fiercely loyal.

Who are the professionals behind the scenes at Oak Grove? Let’s meet the staff of this historic La Crosse institution:

  • Trish Grathen: As executive director, Trish is in charge of all operations of Oak Grove. A native of La Crosse, she is a member of the Rotary Club as well as numerous other community organizations. When not at work, she enjoys golfing and boating.
  • Adam Casper: An avid outdoorsman, it makes sense that Adam, as superintendent, is tasked with ensuring that the grounds and facility are in good condition.
  • Linda Nelson: Linda is sales counselor for Oak Grove, so her work entails working directly with individuals and families with both pre-arrangement planning and making all necessary arrangements. A resident of Onalaska, she is a fan of boating.
