Comedy Club Hosts Successful Fundraiser Benefitting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Manhattan, New York

On May 3, 2015, comedy club Stand Up NY hosted an exciting event for “Tri and Keep Up,” a dedicated fundraising team who is participating in the Team In Training program, raising donations and awareness for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Comedian Craig Fox hosted, and a packed house enjoyed a wonderful evening with performers Ronnie Wilkerson, Robyn Schall, Andy Fiori, Mike Cannon, Ian Fidance, Brian Scott McFadden and Gina Brillon—the comedy show raised more than $2,600!

“Tri and Keep Up” is preparing for the NYC Triathlon on July 19; as a part of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training, the members receive specialized training assistance as they work to achieve their goals. To date, the initiative has raised more than $1.3 billion dollars to fund research and care innovations for cancer patients worldwide. To support “Tri and Keep Up,” visit to their fundraising site.

Stand Up NY has some great stand-up comedy nights on the horizon: Check out the calendar online. For example, you can plan for an evening out to see Sherrod Small’s stand-up on June 7, 2015. You know Small from VH1's "Best Week Ever" and his regular appearances as a guest on NBC's "Today" show.

However, great acts are liable to pop up out of nowhere. Caroline Rhea thrilled one lucky audience on Friday, May 8, 2015—follow Stand Up NY on Facebook and Twitter for surprise lineup information. You just never know who might turn up!

Stand Up NY is located at 236 West 78th Street in the Upper West Side of Manhattan and is easily accessible by subway or bus. Call (212) 595-0850 for more information.
