If you’re working, chances are high that someday, you’ll retire. You may do it with enthusiasm or instead with dread.  Or maybe you’ll think about it for a while, put it off and then put it off again.  We’re living longer so maybe that’s ok – for a while. But, worrying about retirement when it could be a happy period to “catch the trade winds in your sails” and “explore, dream and discover” as Mark Twain said, should be avoided.  The lifestyle you choose after leaving a full-time career can involve many things, including continuing to work or not. But, whatever you do, it’s better to plan for it.  If you’re not doing this, consider hiring a skilled career consultant in New York.
