From July 21st to September 28th, the Texas High Plains Food Hub has your Saturday night dinner plans covered! At this massive celebration of Spearman farmers and the vibrant local community, you’ll find a huge selection of local produce, meat, and eggs, and have the chance to enjoy a live cooking demonstration by Chef Sha Kirk of Kirk Insurance Agency, one of the area’s top farm insurance providers. For her world-class dishes, this celebrated chef will be using ingredients from local farmers, so you can grab the recipe, pick up what you need, and prepare an amazing dinner for your family the same night!

What Is the Texas High Plains Food Hub?

As a celebration of local farmers, the Texas High Plains Food Hub gives you the chance to get farm-fresh fruit and veggies, the best cuts of meat, and other items directly from the producers. Every Saturday morning from 8 a.m. to noon at the Hansford County Barn, you’ll be able to get fresh honey from RAK Farms, produce and beef from Pipkin Farms, tomatoes right off the vine at Canyon Crest Farms, and free-range, all-natural eggs from local farmer David Holt.
