Pipe Lining FAQ

What Is It?

This procedure uses epoxy to line the inner surface of existing pipes. Pipe lining stops leaks, strengthens damaged plumbing, and adds decades to the life span of your water and sewer system.

How Does It Work?

First, the pipes are cleaned out to avoid trapping grime and buildup, and to create as wide a passage as possible. Then the epoxy is prepared and the liner inserted into the pipes. The liner applies the epoxy to the sides of the pipes, where it cures and forms a new, durable interior surface.

Is Digging Involved?

Broken PipesPipe lining does not involve excavation. You won’t need to worry about damage to your property or landscaping. However, in the case of severely broken pipes, you may need other repairs in addition to pipe lining.

Is It Right for Me?

Pipe lining is the best solution to a number of plumbing problems, including decayed or corroded pipes. It also provides a physical barrier to keep tree roots from infiltrating your pipes, and offers a fast fix for pipe leaks if you need to get the work done in a hurry.
