The Beginning

C. L. Chase 24 Hour Towing & Recovery began on August 1^st, 1968. Their original shop was located in Camp Douglas. Since that time, they have expanded by adding additional property to the salvage yard, as well as extra storage. However, their first location still stands and is operable.

How They've Grown

Since 1968, C. L. Chase has evolved in a number of ways. With two additional shops, they are now able to serve customers in Tomah as well as Oakdale. Back in Camp Douglas, they were the very first to introduce a 26-foot roll-bed. Following this addition was their heavy-duty hydraulic wrecker, a Magnum 1980. Again, this was the first of its kind in the entire state. In 1998, they customized a one-of-a-kind, 100-ton wrecker. After 15 years of designing and building, it has become a prized possession for the company. 

Today

Today, this company is well-known as an elite roadside assistance team. They offer auto repair, tire services, and towing for all kinds of vehicles. Their shop doubles as a salvage yard as well. Hosting over 6,000 cars, trucks, and semis, it is the largest in the Midwest. Not only can you purchase used parts, but new ones as well. Their Oakdale location also now includes a Goodyear® dealership!
