On July 13 from 7-10 pm, they are hosting Family Science Night: Earth and Space. This fun-filled and informative event is the ideal way to teach your child about the mysteries of the universe—and enjoy some quality family time together.

If the weather allows, the Memphis Astronomical Society will offer telescope observations from the front lawn for everyone interested in a real-time look at the world beyond Earth’s atmosphere. Your family can also view the cosmos from our AutoZone® Dome at the Sharpe Planetarium, which will be available no matter what the weather holds. For those who prefer hands-on family activities, a number of displays and experiments will be available both indoors and outside for visitors of all ages to satisfy their curiosity.
