We are grateful for the outpouring of support in supplies, food and prayer. Many people have been asking about giving donations. It is important to know that the need for blood is continuous, and will be needed in the following weeks and months to come. Red Blood cells have a shelf life of only 42 days, and the need is constant for donors to continue coming through the summer. Coryell Memorial Healthcare System partners with @CarterBloodCare as our local community blood supplier and they have blood drives scheduled throughout the area to provide donors an opportunity to give the gift of life to our community.  It is the blood on the shelf that saves lives in the event of a tragedy, and we would appreciate for donors to find a blood drive near them and give in honor of our community.
