Be prepared for any unexpected emergency with Northern KY Emergency Medical Services of the Greater Cincinnati area. This non-profit organization provides basic first aid training for adults so that they can be well equipped to save lives during an emergency. During Emergency Medical Services week—beginning May 24—there’s no better time to get your first aid certification or basic health training.

Unfortunately, you never know when a life-threatening emergency may arise, but with CPR and first aid training from NKEMS, you will be well prepared to tackle any urgent health crisis. The knowledgeable instructors of this American Safety and Health Institute have extensive backgrounds in emergency services, and they are all healthcare professionals who strive to provide you with the best training programs in the country.

Along with training programs, NKEMS offers cardiac screening for children (6 and up) and young adults. Sudden Cardiac Arrest, or SCA, unexpectedly takes the lives of thousands of young Americans each year. By performing a simple, painless, non-invasive test called an electrocardiogram, many children’s heart problems will be detected and lives will ultimately be saved. It’s important to understand that SCA can occur anywhere, anytime and is the leading cause of death in seemingly healthy young adults.

Don’t wait until it’s too late; get your health emergency training today at Northern KY Emergency Medical Services. Give them a call at (859) 572-4511 for any questions you may have about their training programs. You can also visit them online for more information about first aid certification, AED sales, or OSHA training.
