It’ll appear as a yellow “TPMS” light when the air pressure of at least one of your tires is below 25% of the optimal pressure. Depending on your type of car, the dashboard indicator may show which tire or tires require air.

Why Is the TPMS So Crucial?

Underinflated tires can cause a number of problems for your vehicle. You’ll experience premature tire wear and uneven tread wear because more of your tires are coming in contact with the road. You’ll also have decreased fuel economy because it takes more energy for your engine to move the car forward.
