In People v. Anonymous (Irondequoit Tn. Ct., 5/7/18), Mr. Corletta expanded on the previous dismissal of some of the charges in this troubling case by obtaining an Adjournment in Contemplation of Dismissal (ACD) on the rest of the charges, which could have endangered his client's professional license and career.

The only requirement placed on the client was that the client continue in counseling, and not get in trouble for the ACD period of 6 months.

Mr. Corletta was able to convince both the Court and District Attorney that these charges did not merit further prosecution, and that his client, a hardworking professional, merely needed some counseling to overcome a particular mental health issue the client had been trying to deal with no assistance for some time.

The client was extremely grateful for this disposition, which resulted in no penalty or forfeiture, and the continuation of a fruitful career.
