Moving is expensive so you’ll want to be sure you are comfortable and happy with you new residence. You do not want to turn around and have to move again within the year. Cost may include the possible need for storage, movers, truck rental, security deposits for a truck and or apartment, shipping material like boxes and bubble wrap and even time off from work. You will want to complete all arrangements for your new residence by finishing all paperwork well in advance of moving day. If you end up needing storage, start searching at your earliest convenience so that you will have more options. Remember to forward mail to your new address. This can be done by submitting an online form to the United States Postal Service. You also want to be sure to schedule utilities cut-off in advance of leaving.
