On Wednesday, May 20th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., learn the basics of animation in this one-time seminar, A Quick Start to 3D Animation. Presenter Josh Planz is an Adjunct Professor in GST's Web and Multimedia (WMM) Design Program who has worked on numerous short animated projects in both commercial and entertainment industries. As an expert in 3D animation and character building, Mr. Planz will share his professional expertise as he guides attendees through the basics of using Maya's Time Slider and Graph Editor.
In this educational seminar, you will discover how to create simple shapes and key-frames as you maneuver through Maya's interface. You will also learn how to edit an animation, animate objects along a path, and gain basic knowledge of the software system. Get tips and tricks on animating with Constraints and finish the workshop with a solid foundation of basic animating skills using Maya.
