It’s been said that music is the food of love, the architect of the mind, and the savior of the soul. Never has the sentiment been truer than for musician, Elizabeth Barnes Music. The country music artist and songwriter, who hails from Minneapolis, MN, made a local name for herself performing in bars and restaurants. Now, she’s ready to share her grooves—and her intriguing story—with the world. This is the inspiration for the 20-year-old’s funding campaign for her debut country music album, “IVever Adorer.”

musicianComposed of original songs, the album was born from personal tragedy. When her love, Johnny Price, died in a car accident in December of 2015, Barnes didn’t think she would survive. Her heart was broken, and she struggled to cope with the realities of the loss. Over time, she drew upon her extraordinary strength and channeled her grief into her singing and songwriting. Her gift gave her the hope she needed to come out on the other side—and the result is a journey to creating a full-length country album and tribute to the person she loved. The goal is to raise enough to complete the album in its entirety.

Fans can show their monetary support through the campaign, which has a flexible goal of $15,000 through the end of March 2018. Every little bit counts, whether you make a minimum $5 donation or contribute $2000. All tiers offer fun incentives that put you front and center with the musician. Whether it’s a thank you card, a signed CD, an invite to the country album release party, or a gratitude credit on the album itself, you’ll receive something memorable in return for your generosity.

It won’t go unnoticed. Barnes is full of gratitude for those who support her as they help her honor Price. “IVever Adorer” is produced by some of the industry’s best and brightest, including producers and engineers who have worked with the likes of Michael Buble and Ludacris.
