Have you ever wondered, “Who runs this joint?” With our 5-year anniversary coming up, we wanted to give you a little insight into who we are and how this family-run embroidery business has made its place into the hearts of so many in our lovely community. 

Who’s the Boss?

No, not Tony Danza, but Brenda — Bren, Mom, Boss Lady, Mother. She’s the proud owner of Blue Earth Custom Embroidery and has been for five years!

What started off as a small designated room in the family farm’s shed has grown into a spacious storefront in beautiful downtown Blue Earth, MN.  As a young lass, she always knew she’d have a store. Adopting a never-let-the-dust-settle mentality from her grandparents, she certainly isn’t afraid to take chances or step out of her comfort zone. Give this lady a challenge, and she’ll step up to the plate. 

The Royal Fam Dam

No, that isn’t a swear word; It’s just an expression, folks. Brenda has been blessed with five children and a wonderfully supportive hubby, Neal. We love living the farm life and enjoy many outdoor activities, along with spoiling our four adorable grandkids.

The Crazy Lady

The craziest of Brenda’s kids joined Blue Earth Custom Embroidery in October 2015 when the storefront opened. With a strong customer service background and years of working at Human Services, she has one goal: customer satisfaction. “My/our job is to make sure that when they walk out of our store, they are 100% pleased with their order and their experience with us.” Having the ability to be creative is one of her favorite parts of the job. 

Happy Little Family

Three little kiddos. One supportive Jeffrey. No pets. And, that’s Miss Em’s happy little family. Being a momma is what fills her cup, and she wouldn’t trade the loud and crazy for anything else.  Spending time with family is everything — there’s never a shortage of laughing when everyone is together.

Store Shenanigans

The store has taken a huge step this year by offering customers just one more unique and edgy decorating option — laser etching. If you’re anything like Emily’s oldest, you instantly thought of a giant laser being used for world domination. While it might not be world domination, we sure as heck plan on “total decorating domination!”

Because laser etching is so new, a lot of people haven’t seen what this bad boy can do. We can etch on more than clothing — like wood and metal. But, clothing is a new ball game, folks. It’s going to blow your mind!

Also, we’re cool — Ha! Seriously though, we strive to bring you the trendiest in clothing and decorating of said clothes. As previously stated, we want you to be happy, and part of that is making sure you’re wearing the good stuff. You’re welcome for keeping you fashionable.

Really? It wasn’t that long. But again, customer satisfaction is our number one goal, so we’ll wrap this up. And, here is where we get serious — and maybe sappy.
