Dedicated to giving back to the community and creating new opportunities for those in need, Waterside Restaurant & Catering in North Bergen, NJ, is hosting the Second Annual Leonidas Foundation Fundraiser. As the area’s premier waterfront restaurant, this special events company has partnered with the foundation to honor the memory of Leo Vagias, a young man who passed away in a tragic car accident at the age of 19, along with his best friend Sam Cali. Both were graduates of Don Bosco Prep in Ramsey, where they excelled in their athletic careers. Leo’s mother Frances Vagias, as well as her two siblings own the beautiful Waterside Restaurant in North Bergen.
Leonidas Foundation 2nd Annual Fundraiser
Thursday, April 19th, 6:30 p.m.
To honor the memory of this young man, who cared so deeply for his community, attend the 2018 Kickoff Cocktail Party and Silent Auction. You can purchase tickets for the event and, if you choose, bid on donated items in the auction. The proceeds from this event will help fund The Leonidas Foundation, as it continues to grow and give back to the community. In the last two years, this organization has participated in humanitarian efforts, including response to natural disasters, food drives, toy drives through out Hudson County and the first school leadership program at Don Bosco Prep named the L.E.O Program, for exceptional students, looking to expand their knowledge and entrepreneurial skills. Funds raised at this event will go towards expanding the L.E.O Program to under served schools in the community.
