The front end of the vehicle will be checked for deterioration, including the suspension, steering wheel, shock absorbers, chassis, and wheel fasteners.

4. Tires & Alignment

Tire tread and depth will be inspected for wear and tear or anything that can compromise its condition. Possible alignment problems are also examined to make sure there are no issues.

5. Windows & Windshield

The glass should be properly mounted, along with windshield wipers and blades. All of these components must be in good condition or repairs will be recommended.

6. Exhaust & Fuel System

The auto mechanic will perform an emissions inspection to ensure that the exhaust system is working properly. A diagnostics test is run on the engine check light, ventilation system, and other components.

7. Belts & Tensioner

The fan belt, drive belt, tensioner, and other components that are attached to the engine must be inspected.

8. Fluid Levels

The coolant, brake fluid, and washer fluid will be checked and topped off as needed.

9. Battery Check

The vehicle battery is checked for corrosion, loose cables, and other problems that could cause malfunctions.
