Ozark Surgical Group is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Malachi McCurdy to their group.  

Dr. McCurdy was born and raised in a small community in central Indiana. He served on multiple medical mission trips to Kenya, Honduras, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic before graduating summa cum laude from Anderson University with a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry and biology. He attended the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis and completed a general surgery residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.

An Ironman athlete, Dr. McCurdy enjoys triathlons, mountain climbing, hunting, fishing, and living an active lifestyle. He and his fiancée, Hannah, are enjoying the many outdoor activities offered in the area.  

Dr. McCurdy joins Dr. John Spore, Dr. Jacob Dickinson, Dr. Jennifer Foster and Dr. Lee Morisy in providing surgical care to patients in the Mountain Home and surrounding areas. Ozark Surgical Group was founded in 1977 by the late Dr. William Ford and has been continuously serving their patients for over 40 years.
