Next week – March 25 through 31 – is National Physicians Week and, to celebrate, Twin Cities’ iSpine Pain Physicians wants you to meet their team. The leading chronic pain management center consists of three back pain specialists plus several experienced physician assistants and certified nurse practitioners, all of whom go above and beyond to help their patients control their symptoms and lead their best lives.

Meet the Twin Cities’ Top Back Pain Specialists

James B Parmele, MD

back pain specialistBorn and raised in Kansas, Dr. James Parmele has been a part of the iSpine team for many years. But before he came to the Twin Cities, he was attending Baker University in Baldwin City, KS. From there, he spent a year at the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense and then attended the University of Kansas School of Medicine, where he received his Medical Doctorate (MD). He later received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Washington University in St. Louis.

In addition to these degrees, Dr. Parmele has numerous certifications that allow him to deliver a high quality of care. Namely, he is board-certified in Anesthesiology, Pain Medicine and Interventional Pain Management. He is also the treasurer for the Minnesota Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.

Jason S. Wolff, MD

back injectionDr. Jason Wolff grew up in Denver, CO, and received a Bachelor’s in Microbiology from Colorado State University. Afterward, he attended medical school at Creighton University. Like Dr. Parmele, Dr. Wolff completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Washington University. He then went on to complete an Interventional Pain Management fellowship at the same school. This fellowship allowed Dr. Wolff to gain experience with a wide variety of minimally invasive chronic pain management methods.

After his fellowship, Dr. Wolff moved to Minnesota where he has been practicing Interventional Pain Management ever since. He too specializes in spinal pain and spinal disorders.

Ron Boeding, MD

chronic pain managementDr. Ron Boeding is iSpine’s newest back pain specialist. He studied at the University of Virginia’s Anesthesiology Department of Pain Management and has been practicing Interventional Pain Management for the last five years. Dr. Boeding is especially interested in the use of spinal cord stimulation to treat neuropathy, chronic regional pain syndrome and more. However, he also performs back injections.
