Do a Variety of Exercises

To relieve neck pain, it pays to perform a variety of exercises. The neck turn, for example, involves turning your head five different times on each side while keeping your chin at the same level.

The neck stretch is another excellent exercise. Just push your chin forward and hold it in that position for five seconds. Then, push your chin backward and keep it there for five seconds. Do each stretch five times each.

Don’t Stop Exercising if the Pain Stops

Even if you stop feeling pain in a week or two, don’t put an end to your neck exercises. Continue doing the moves for six to eight weeks to prevent the pain from coming back.
