Everyone’s concerned about safety these days, and for a good reason. According to the FBI, in 2016, there were over 1.5 million burglaries and about 30% of those affected businesses. So how can you prevent your business from being the next victim? Medeco® High-Security Locks are one way to provide door security and keep intruders out. Here are some of the products they offer.

LOGIC® Locking Systems

This system relies on electronic keys and cylinders and can schedule who can open the door and when. It also includes software that provides you with an audit report. This line not only includes door security locks but also padlocks should your business have fencing or machinery.

Rim & Mortise Cylinders

Door SecurityThese locks provide a patented key control, which protects against unauthorized key duplication. They’re also made to guard against drilling, picking, and bumping. Some of the cylinders come with CLIQ Intelligent Keys that can be programmed to open the door only at specific times. Rim and Mortise cylinders use existing hardware, so they can be easily retrofitted.

Maxum Deadbolts

These deadbolts are made to withstand kicking, hammering, drilling, and crowbar prying; they even stand up to sawing. Keys for the deadbolts can’t be copied without your permission, and some products are electronic and can be remotely programmed in case of a lost key. Like the Rim and Mortise cylinders, Maxum deadbolts can be easily retrofitted because they use existing hardware.
