I am my own toughest critic!
Looking out into my audience from the stage is like a staring contest with my family and friends. They are all staring at me in anticipation to see something great, magical and wonderful. I am excited and anxious to perform something amazing and see their reaction. I love holding the attention and keeping them engaged and involved in my show. My heart is beating as fast as I am speaking and I am hoping they are excited to see what I am doing and what my next feat will be! I know my act and how it will play to my audience, I still, however, look forward each and every time I step out in front on stage to hear that special ah! or oh! or laugh with an applause of course. My act is practiced and perfected to perform after so many years, but every audience is new and with different results each and every time. It is fun for me to have fun with my audience and watch them receive what I am dishing out. It is a total joy to experience from both sides (i hope). I rate myself after each show and I realized that most of the times the rating is really on my audience and how they accepted me, and how I feel I delivered for them. I work with all ages and have fun making everyone have a time they will remember forever. When I see people from parties years ago, I mean 1980 and they still talk about me as if it was a few years ago, that makes me feel special and I am honored to be part of their memory.
