Stealing from God
I understand this is not a very fun article or part of our lives to talk about but believe it or not it happens. Stealing doesn’t mean just money which is a sin but what are you doing with your health, time, how are you speaking? Are you stealing God’s glory by the way you act and take care of yourself? These are all parts of our lives that are very important to God. Not only does He want us to give back ten percent of our income but also our time. Do you spend time reading His word and allow the Holy Spirit to mold you into the person God wants you to be? God’s word is powerful and when you give time to God to study His word you then allow Him to change you and purge the junk out of you. God deserves all the glory for who He is and for what He does in our lives. But often times we discredit who God is by the way we act and take care of ourselves. Satan loves to make us loose our temper and act out in ways that are not glorifying to God. Not only that but he’s still using the same tactic he used with Adam and Eve and deceiving God’s children with food. God wants us to take care of our temple so that we can fulfill our calling here on earth. But Satan will do everything he can to make us eat and become addicted to different foods and drugs that will shorten our lives. I encourage you as we begin 2018 to take time and spend with God and believe Him for the impossible. 1 Corinthians 7:5 Do not deprive each other except perhaps by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control. When we fast and pray objects that are standing in our way begin to move and then we experience amazing breakthroughs. The word tells us that things come to past through prayer and fasting. So as the new year approaches ask God how you might be stealing from Him, repent and move forward. God has great plans for His children in 2018 so let’s get ready for the best year ever. I believe this will be the year of REDEMPTION with great miracles, signs and wonders performed.
