Mental Health First Aid Training for Personal Health and Elder Care
Tuesday, December 12th, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Work with care physicians to improve your command of mental health first aid. This medical knowledge is useful for elder care and personal health. You’ll learn how to identify, understand, and respond to mental and substance abuse crises. Implementing these skills at the right could save a life. It’s just as important to understand as CPR skills, especially for those involved with elder care. Those taking mental health training are part of a growing movement to increase our ability to help each other with mental health issues and decrease the stigma against asking for help.
