Independent Research

Outcomes-Based Evaluation of FasTracKids and three to six year olds - U.S. Sites

The Results

Independent testing demonstrates that a significant number of three to six year old children enrolled in FasTracKids improved their vocabulary and social skills at a rate 100% to 150% times faster than their peers not enrolled in the academic enrichment program.

All children in the study improved – those who were kindergarten aged advanced as much as one grade level and some of those students improved up to two grade levels.

  • All of the children attended FasTracKids classes for just two hours a week for a period of six months. Research shows there is a direct correlation between how children perform on these tests prior to entering school and how they will perform in school throughout their academic careers.

    Additional Significant Study Findings:
  • FasTracKids’ unique curriculum helps students of all skill levels achieve greater success.
  • Results confirm that students who enrolled in FasTracKids with lower-than-average skills demonstrated significant improvement in their receptive and expressive vocabulary skills.
  • High-performing children, those who entered FasTracKids with above average skills, also demonstrated significant positive growth during the test period.

The FasTacKids curriculum was developed in conjunction with Dr. Johann DeBeer, an internationally renowned expert in gifted & talented education. This is a computer-integrated (Smart Boards) learning program for potentially gifted children. This technologically advanced program challenges your child to think productively, while simultaneously developing his/her speaking, communication and leadership skills.

Dr. DeBeer is internationally known for his work in gifted and talented education. He is recognized for his contributions to higher education for elevating performance standards for children of all ages. He holds a degree in literature (linguistics) and education philosophy, as well as a master’s degree in clinical psychology. DeBeer has served as an educational consultant and adviser to a number of governments.

The FasTracKids curriculum was developed by DeBeer over a period spanning 2 decades – during which he helped develop enrichment courses for thousands of children worldwide. The FasTracKids program is now available in over 52 countries!

FasTracKids – Gifted & Talented Development for Ages 3 to 7

FasTracKids takes advantage of the most productive time in your child's brain development by offering revolutionary enrichment programs for children ages 3 to 7 years old. The focus is on creating a very positive and fun environment where children feel free to think creatively while developing their social, communication, leadership, teamwork and problem solving skills.

Your child will learn a wide range of interesting subjects such as biology, technology, goals and life lessons, natural science, communications, astronomy, mathematics, creativity, earth science, creative literature, speech & drama and economics. As children are highly motivated by learning through discovery and experimentation, they will interact with their lessons through projects, experiments, and hands-on activities.

By exposing 12 subject areas, FasTracKids utilizes a multi-sensory approach (auditory, visual, tactile and kinesthetic) to teaching. This method allows FasTracKids to accommodate many different learning styles, while identifying the development of different early learning skills. FasTracKids incorporates these elements in each structured lesson, providing opportunities for children to experience growth in each subject area while having a great time.

Our center incorporates technology with classroom lessons through an interactive touch screen white board. With over 10 years of research, international education experts say that this technology will improve motivation and attendance, accommodate different learning styles, improve material retention and increase teacher productivity.

This interactive touch screen white board answers the needs of both visual and kinesthetic learners by showing large, vibrant images while letting children physically interact with material by moving letters, numbers, words and pictures with their fingers. With the experience brought about by our rapidly changing world, focusing directly on early childhood education and how children can succeed is of paramount importance.

Progress reports, parent-teacher conferences, videotaping opportunities (for presentation/public speaking) and FasTrack Parent's site help parents stay involved in their child's progress at FasTracKids, as well as continue their learning at home.
