1. Molars

2. Incisors

These teeth are featured at the very front of your smile. The top four and bottom four are flatter than all your other teeth, which helps them chew food.

3. Premolars

You may have heard your dentist talk about your bicuspids. These four premolars erupt when kids are about 10 years old. They too help pulverize food and are located between the incisors and molars.

4. Canines 

These four teeth look like fangs and can be found in the front corners of your jaw. They’re extra long in many mammals, but in humans, canine teeth are typically visible due to their slightly pointier nature. They are sharp and meant for ripping and tearing food.
