Fall Blackfishing, Old Saybrook Center, Connecticut

We start the last month of the season next week with the crafty , delicious tasting fish better known as tautog.

These fishing trips are in high demand and are primarily done while at anchor with the motors off!

We generally use green crabs for bait with 6 to 12 ounces of weight to keep your crab on the bottom among the rocks and wrecks.

Fishing parties of 6 anglers make up the group for maximum catch! The more baits we have in the water the more we can work the fish into a feeding frenzy!

The saltwater fishing regs in our state allow up to 4 per person that we combine with striped bass, sea bass and porgies! You can expect to return with ample filets of white fish to load your freezer for the long winter…

Give Captain Pete a call at 860-304-4398 or text for the latest openings and fishing report.
