Proper dental hygiene is necessary at any age, but it's crucial for parents to instill these values even in young children. A Brighter Rainbow Learning Center believes that dental hygiene is an integral part of healthy child development. That’s why a dentist is coming to the center to talk to the children about how to take care of their teeth on Friday, February 6th.

Parents play a significant role in helping maintain their children’s dental health. Before teeth even break through a baby’s gums, parents should wipe children’s mouths with a wet cloth to prevent bacteria from growing. And as soon as teeth start erupting, parents should brush their baby’s teeth with a toothbrush designed for infants, but only use a tiny amount of fluoride-free toothpaste. After the age of two, many kids can start using toothpaste with fluoride.

Teaching about dental hygiene is one of many aspects that A Brighter Rainbow Learning Center provides for a continuous educational experience. Dedicated childcare professionals create a safe and caring space for children enrolled in the baby and toddler daycare. At this preschool, children are able to explore and experiment through hands-on activities and play, with a curriculum based on the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and the Creative Curriculum Teaching Strategies. This framework provides children in preschool a firm foundation for future learning.
