Bachelor of Music or Music Education Degree (Voice) required as well as experience in teaching Children (‘singing lessons’ pre teenage years; Teenagers, and Adults, beginning through advanced Levels; use Solfeggio for Sight Singing.  Instructor should to be a good performer.  Instructor to teach Private Lessons weekly, including Saturday mornings, during the Academic Year, excluding Holiday and Spring Breaks (September through May plus ‘Make Up Week’ as needed), as well as ‘Flexible’ Summer Semester Session.  Lesson length is generally determined by age and level of advancement: 30; 45; 60 minutes per student. Instructor may also Teach/Direct weekly (or bi-weekly) Vocal Ensemble/Chorus: two students minimum and more. Instructor must have positive attitude; be moral, and ethical.

Experience:

Prior Voice Teaching of Private Lessons required and preference also given to experience in Directing a Vocal Ensemble/Chorus.

Starting Date:

LATE START, WEEK OF OCTOBER 9TH!

 Fall Semester 2017, week of ‘Labor Day’ up to Holiday Break; Spring Semester 2018, early January through end of May plus ‘Make-Up Week’ as needed; Summer Semester 2018, flexible, early June through 3rd week in August
