Event Information

Join the North Haven Rotary Club and spend an afternoon sipping wine among beautiful flowers at the Day of Wine & Roses Food Festival! Taking place on Sunday, September 24th from 1 to 5 p.m., the annual celebration is located at Forget Me Not Flower Shop in North Haven, CT.

This coveted local event has grown exponentially since its inception more than 16 years ago, with nearly 600 people attending last year. Food lovers won’t want to miss the opportunity to sample a buffet of donated dishes from dozens of area restaurants. Make sure to save some room for the pig roast that afternoon.

Prepare for the opportunity to sample 70 to 90 different wines from local winemakers. Each glass is paired with a piece of chocolate for a delectable experience you won’t soon forget. Attendees can vote on their favorite blend, enjoy live music from vocalist Raymond Suntino, and participate in a high-end silent raffle auction.

flowerAll proceeds from this event are invested back into the community, with funds benefiting local nonprofits. In previous years, the Day of Wine & Roses Food Festival enabled the North Haven Rotary Club to provide scholarships to high school students and donate nearly $50,000 to charities, including the Special Olympics, Chapel Haven, and The Ronald McDonald House. To date, the club has assisted more than 30 community groups.

Cost of admission is just $35 in advance and $40 at the door. To purchase your tickets, visit the event’s website or call (203) 606-2687.
