Therapeutic Rehabilitation for Severe Mental Illness

Who It’s For

The Therapeutic Rehabilitation — TR — program at NorthKey Community Care was designed for adults with severe mental illnesses. Individuals who may benefit from utilizing this program include those who are taking antipsychotic medications or major mood stabilizers as well as those who need additional skills development to thrive in their personal and professional relationships.

What It Includes

mental health servicesThe goal of the TR program is to reduce the social, personal, and professional barriers that arise as the result of mental illness. It does this by assessing participants and then devising a customized treatment approach and comprehensive support structure based on their diagnoses. Therapeutic Rehabilitation includes mental health services including evaluation, counseling, and supported employment.

A licensed behavioral health therapist oversees the program and each patient’s progress, while a certified peer support specialist follows the Illness, Management, and Recovery curriculum from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
