Thank you Lori (Hillview Dietary Manager) and Reinhart for a great event!!! 

This morning Reinhart sponsored a food show for our residents & staff to taste test a large variety of items.  Lori states, “some of the items featured today may make our Fall/Winter menus after overwhelming positive feedback from residents.”   One resident stated, “it was nice to try some of the new foods and give our opinions on the items we would like to see.”  Someone else stated, “we loved everything and we didn’t realize that some of the items were low sodium.”

Some of the foods tested included:  a variety of meats (shredded pork, shredded chicken, pork brisquet, pork loin, a variety of sausages, brats, hot dogs, sour cream mashed potatoes, sweet corn, gravies, as well as desserts (raspberry white chocolate cake, chocolate cake, and carrot cake)!!

THANK YOU REINHART for the great program and the opportunity for us to try so many “healthy” foods.

The tennants of Carroll Heights (Independent Apartments) and Hillview Terrace (Assisted Living) can look forward to a “taste testing in September or October!
