After attending Harvard University, Dr. Hiranaka completed his internship and residency with the prestigious Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, where he received firsthand training in both general surgery and maxillofacial surgery. He then relocated to Salt Lake City, where he undertook a yearlong residency at the Institute of Facial Surgery. Dr. Hiranaka has since become an esteemed leader in his field, giving lectures to fellow physicians, conducting his own clinical research and writing and publishing academic articles on reconstructive surgery.
