Event Information

School’s out, which means your child will be looking for fun activities; but, you don’t want to send them to just any summer day camp. Instead, consider Oak View Baptist Church’s Camp 810 in High Point, NC, where your child will learn about God, scripture, and their personal areas of interest. Read on for details before registering your child for this year’s camp running from July 17 to July 21.

Camp 810: A God-Centered Summer Camp

What Is Camp 810?

The emphasis of Camp 810 is teaching children about God so they can build a deeper relationship. Children from Kindergarten through 5th Grade will participate in a daily bible study. Further, each child will choose two tracks to participate in that allow fellowship with other children who share similar interests.

Some examples of potential tracks include:

  • Soccer: In this track, students will learn the basic rules and skills required for the game of soccer.
  • GodBasketball: During these activities, campers will gain a general understanding of basketball rules and gameplay.
  • Discovery Lab: In this track, children will explore the exciting world of science.
  • Kitchen Concoctions: Kids on the kitchen track will have a ton of fun making friends while learning new recipes and techniques.

Even more exciting tracks will be presented soon! The half-day camp starts at 9 a.m. each day with wrap-up beginning at 11:45 a.m. Students will be provided a snack during Bible study.

Why Should My Child Attend?

Your kids will have fun learning about their preferred track, all while making new friends. Not to mention, a day camp allows you time to get some errands done while your student is in good hands at the church. Even more importantly, though, your child will deepen his knowledge of scripture and relationship with God through a daily Bible study and interactions with camp staff.

If a God-centered program with a combination of spiritual education and personal development is what you want for your child, then Camp 810 with Oak View Baptist Church is the perfect choice. Register online for $40 prior to June 25, or $50 until July 2. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to give the friendly church staff a call at (336) 841-6511.
