- Children & Play: Are your children getting enough playtime? Playtime is vital to your child’s development, and while physical activity is great, competitive sports can burden children tremendously. Children who push themselves too hard can experience burnout. No one wants his or her child to go through that, so ensuring balance is paramount. If you’ve noticed drastic changes in you child’s attitude or weight, it might be time to talk to him or her about stress and balance. Remember, their childhood is a time for fun; when sports stop being fun, it might be time to stop.
