Warm temperatures are on the way!! Turning on a hot oven is a distant past. Instead stock your freezer with easy, go-to healthy foods that simply your weight loss diet.

5 Freezer Staples:

  1. Riced Vegetables- This are now available in your frozen grocery section. These are so versatile for using in place of carbs. For example, riced-cauliflower works great for the stir-fry's in place of the rice.
  2. All-fruit bars. These are perfect for a quick, low-calorie treat. Look for new tea and fruit combo bars, too. As low as 35 calories per bar makes them a great choice for something sweet.
  3. Frozen fruit.  With no added sugar, frozen fruit can be blended in to your morning smoothie or lunchtime meal replacement shake. Look for mango for a tropical twist.
  4. Frozen ready-to-eat shrimp.  These thaw quickly and make a great summer meal. Grilled, topped on salads, or plain. Four ounces is only 125 calories, and 26 grams of protein!
  5. Frozen prepared meals.  Don't feel like cooking… don’t worry just pop one of these healthy options in the microwave. Dinner….done!
