Meet Coach Adam Redenbaugh

Favorite Benchmark WOD: Helen

Note from Adam:  I grew up in Southern California engaged in almost every water sport imaginable – from surfing to competitive swimming. The only time I wasn’t in the water was during wrestling season. After graduating from high school I decided to physically and mentally test myself in the Marines. While in the Marines, I became a Combat Swim Instructor. Two combat tours later and a separation from the Marines, I found myself in the Army Reserves and severely overweight.

After my back injury and subsequent surgery, I was told that I would never run again, let alone lead a physically active lifestyle. I turned to CrossFit as part of my rehabilitation routine. I quickly found that special focus on mechanics and meticulous attention to technique will not only help athletes avoid injury, but also drastically increase resiliency.

I started CrossFit in 2010 and found myself in nearly the best shape of my life with nearly a fully recovered back; something I need to keep up with my four active children. Come join me for an early morning workout and see how developing your overall fitness will make you happier, healthier, and ready to tackle all of life’s challenges.
