All are Welcome!  This event is open to any current or aspiring Board Member - and you do not need to be a current HMI client to attend this FREE event.

Whether you are a long-standing Board Member, or new to Association Leadership, this training is an invaluable resource to stay current with the ever-changing statutes and case law.  Even if you attended last year, there have been many legal changes that impact community associations that you need to know!

The conference will be held at Embassy Suites North (Uptown Altamonte) - 225 Shorecrest Drive, Altamonte Springs, FL 32701 - near the Altamonte Mall.

Monday, May 22nd, 2017 – 5:30pm to 9:30pm

5:30pm to 6:20pm – Meet & Greet Social in the hotel atrium with hors-d'oeuvres, carving station and soft drinks.  Meet the attorneys and the collections professionals, and other Board Members from associations throughout Central Florida. Network...share ideas...enjoy the food!

6:30pm to 8:30pm – Two separate attorney-led Board Certification Seminars - unlike the combined HOA/Condo certification classes, we are holding two separate sessions specific to your needs. 

The Condo Association Board Certification is sponsored by the Law Firm of Martell & Ozim (http://www.martellandozim.com/) and the HOA Board Certification by the Law Firm of John Di Masi (http://www.orlando-law.com/). There will be light hors-d'oeuvres and beverages in each meeting room during the training, sponsored by Iron Oak and Alliance CAS.

8:30pm to 8:45pm – BREAK

8:45pm to 9:30pm – Intro to Condo and HOA Insurance - Presented by Lou Biron, Equity Partner with Sihle Insurance Group (http://www.sihle.com/).  Stay after the Board Certification sessions for an important overview of condominium and homeowner association insurance requirements.

Like last year, at the conclusion of the event we will be raffling off a 50-inch LCD HDTV to one lucky attendee!  We hope to see you there!
