Jamie Lynn Sivak
Born in LaGrange, Illinois, Jamie Lynn spent most of her early years moving throughout the US. in 2000, her family finally settled in Wagoner, Oklahoma. As a teenager, she was determined to find her way out to a bigger city, only to find herself falling in love with the "small town" life. In 2003, Jamie Lynn became Miss Wagoner, solidifying her heart's ties to our little town. As a homeschooled student, she had the opportunity to complete her high school education early. After which, she attended RHEMA Bible Training Center and later, DOMATA School of Ministry.
Jamie Lynn has always counted her faith in God and relationship with Jesus Christ as the two things that truly define who she is. She is indescribably thankful for her family and claims that she "wouldn't be the person she is today, without them." A lover of animals in general and more specifically, dogs, Jamie Lynn can usually be found hanging out with her "Boys", Prince, her four-year-old Black Lab and Picasso, her four-year-old Australian Shepherd.
For the past eight years, Jamie Lynn served as the Director of Missions Trips, for Global Ventures, an international missions organization based in Catoosa, OK. During this time, she had the opportunity to travel out of the US over 40 times, helping to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ, into 20 different nations and she has no plans of stopping. Jamie Lynn will tell you that her heart beats for the lost and hurting people of the world.
The Shipman family is very grateful to have Jamie Lynn as a part of our team to help in serving the Wagoner, Muskogee and surrounding communities.
