Perfection does not exist in the world of eating. There is no good or bad foods. Making one choice that is high in calories and/or fat does not ruin your entire day. Believe it or not you have options,  and by giving yourself options you empower yourself. 

If you are trying to lose weight, adjust your thinking to improvement and balance and away from perfection.  Think of having no rules with food, but instead guidelines for healthy choices. Give yourself credit for what you have accomplished. Did you stick to two bites of dessert like you wanted? Did you order a salad on the side instead of fries? These choices matter, props to you!

Lastly, cut yourself some slack. If you slip up, find a quick way back on your path.  Avoid the emotional roller coaster of shame,  which can lead to several days of being off track. Believe in yourself and focus on your small accomplishments.
