When I first decided to look into opening my own business, I did a lot of research and visited my now competitors trying to decided if I wanted to join their franchise or did I want to be a lone wolf. While visiting, I asked myself what did I like about each class and what did I not like about each class. One of the things they all had in common what I felt way too confined. There was not enough room for my glass of preferred beverage, a small plate of food, and paint supplies, something always got spilt in every class I went to, or it wasn’t strange at all that I would have items on the floor to make room. I hated it. I wanted a place where people can relax, enjoy the class, the atmosphere, the music, the snacks, and their preferred beverage all the while having something they can take home and say, “I made this”. I want people to want to come again just like we all go to the movies on a regular bases. The price of the evening is about the same price, but I want people leave Artherapy Studios with so much more. I also wanted the freedom to offer more than just a paint class. There is so much more to art than painting. I want to offer beginner drawing classes, sculpture classes, and craft classes. This Thursday we are having craft class where we will glue some weathered boards together and then paint fun flip flops on it to match your decor. This will look great on your door this summer or perfect in a beach themed bathroom! Come join us for the fun! Also, if you have an art class you would really like to take and you just can’t find in anywhere, let us know and we will do our best to see about adding it to our schedule! Thanks!
