It’s hard to believe it’s 2017.  By all accounts the economy turned around in 2016 and jobs are picking up.  However, there is a lot of debt out there left over from the long standing previous downturn.  My most recent bankruptcy clients have pointed out to me that they want to use this year to get rid of their debt so they can at least participate in the turnaround, rather than be settled with enormous debt and thus continue to spin their wheels going forward as if the economy never turned around at all.  They point out that when the banks got in trouble the government had no trouble bailing them out on their dime.  I couldn’t help but agree.  If they are going to allow the banks a fresh start by forgiving billions, then why not me.  So you might want to seriously consider giving yourself a fresh start so you too can get out of debt.  If you want to take a look at your qualifications for a fresh start though bankruptcy, call attorney Mark O. Grater at 860-449-8059 or check out the web cite at www.graterlaw.com.  You won’t regret it.
