Plain ahead for your sitting. Be well rested. Your hair should be as its best and in A style that those who will be receiving your portrait are accustom to. This is not a good time to experiment. Make-up should be normal and not excessive. Jewelry and accessories should be simple and not dominate.
Clothing should also be simple and normally subdued so that the attention in the final portrait will go to the subject and not the clothing. Try to avoid bold patterns and colors, normally, low key colors (medium to darker tones) will work best. We usually suggest three-quarter length to full length sleeves for women. Children seem to be most natural and relaxed in informal wear. We suggest you bring a choice of clothing to the studio if you like assistance in making A selection.
Plan to bring any objects or props that will suggest your interests, hobbies or profession so that we may better reflect you in your portrait. Plan enough time so that you will not have to hurry. If you have any questions do not hesitate, call A. Lowe/Creative Photography 513.921.5179
